Ordered a bedroom suite the beginning of June with delivery estimate early July, late July (28th) still had not shipped! Customer Service was helpless with answers. Found the same suite plus an additional item for almost $150 less on a different site and they would not honor the price guarantee....said it had to be just a furniture store. Mind you this was brandsplace.com not an auction site or wholesale site. I finally received an email stating my order was cancelled and please dont contact them again. MY PLEASURE.... I would not recommend this site nor receive anything from them even if it was free.

Oh yeah and the free shipping they advertise is really $9.99 not FREE! But they will charge you the regular shipping fee of $149 if you decide you want to send the damaged goods back.

Charged $108 for shipping that costs $31 with UPS

I purchased a storage chest from them, it arrived broken and my husband didn't like it. Returning it is a complete nightmare. The trunk was $330, they are charging me $50 in restocking fee (which is ok, because their return policy clearly states it) + $108 in shipping fee, which they claim how much they actually paid to the shipping company. Which can not be true since to ship the item back through UPS ground is $31. They just try to rip you off on shipping charges, since they say it's free and you don't actually see how much shipping is when you buy something, and then later they claim it's $100. So from $330 I have paid I am going to get back $141. (330-50 restocking fee - 108 shipping to me - 31 shipping back). In addition I spent 2-3 hours on the phone trying to arrange to return it. Really bad return policy and customer service. Will never shop here again.

I ordered a full standing mirror from them. They sent it and the casters were soldered on wrong so you couldn't even stand it up. They send a 2nd one and a part is missing and it has been almost 3weeks of my calling them with no call back. The email I received from Adrienne Bubbins,Customer Service Manager said that if I wanted them to pick up the mirror, there would be RETURN FEES!!! Can you believe the audacity of that comment!

They are the worst. Always call these places and if you can't get a real voice on the phone....don't buy from them. All they are is a distributor to get the product to you. It's not a business. They could be working out of their kitchen for all you know. I also have contacted the better business bureau to try and get their help!

All went well except the expected shipping date. Online it said the item would ship in 3-5 days, while the shipping notification e-mail said it won't ship for over 2 weeks! The delivery date was a determining factor in my purchase -- but I guess now I'll be waiting much longer than expected.

I would like to convey my extreme dissatisfaction with this company. I had initially ordered an area rug on March 17th 2007, and chose OneWayFurniture because of it's low cost, and website which seemed secure & had been rated as a top site by many. A month later I finally got an email saying my rug would ship in TWO more weeks. Waited again... Those 2 weeks passed during which I phoned the company to express my concern and was told not to worry. So we kept waiting. Another 2 weeks passed and now we are told the rug wouldnt ship until mid-June!!

I am shocked that OneWayFurniture can have a successful business based on my dealings with them. My experience of poor communication, ship dates that are months away, and the inability to fill orders of product that they list on their site in a timely manner, has astounded me.

If they are unable to fulfill orders of specific products in a timely manner, then why even list the said products for sale? Their service has been simply appalling. My order has since been cancelled.

Very, very pleased. I saw a dinette that I liked. I was very afraid to order something that I have never seen over the Internet. Pictures are very good, the items looks exactly the way they show it in the picture. I was worried about the glass top braking, however, it all came in one piece. Nothing broken, nothing missing. They called me and told me that the item has shipped and 2 days later I received a phone call from delivery company who made sure I will be home to receive the shipment. Assembly took a while, since I have never done it before, but my husband and I mastered it together. No missing bolts, screws. Perfect. I could not be any happier. I will order from this company again.
