Be Careful When Ordering

Quality products fast shipping good price but bad return policy/response

I bought two separate pendant lights from them at very good prices. Shipping time was prompt. However, when I found it necessary to return an item, it took nearly a month to get my refund after they received the item I sent. That is unacceptable. How long does it take to electronically issue money back to Pay Pal??? Apparently too long. I'd recommend you buy from them but be sure of your purchase!

They quoted one price, and wanted to charge more

Found lamps advertised on their site for $75, and ordered Even got confirmation order for both, with the $75 dollar/ea. price.

2 days later received a call from them, that THEY made a mistake, and that their actual(?) price was $171 each, but out of the goodness of their heart, they'd let me have them.

For an extra $40 each. Not exactly legal in CA, and complete BS to expect a customer to cover what they admitted was their mistake (Made twice...)

This kind of soft theft via "mistakes" demonstrates the absolute worst of E-commerce-

less expensive, but not as prompt or efficient as competition

I found Lighting Direct when I was looking for a better price on a fixture I had found on another web site. Lighting Direct's price did beat the competions' so I ordered it. It took significantly longer to receive this fixture than I anticipated. It didn't ship for at least 7-10 days and when I did receive it, it had rust damage. I immediately called in to make an exchange and I was supposed to receive information on returning the damaged fixture within a few days, but I haven't yet. Other companies I've dealt with have been much more efficient in delivering return information and in communicating generally. Lighting Direct has not automatically sent me shipping confirmations or tracking information, but will if it is requested. They have been prompt in responding to e-mail inquiries. Maybe my experience isn't typical -- I assume my fixture was more difficult to get out in a timely manner, but as this is the only experience I've had with them I can't be sure.

Unbelievably great!! I ordered my light, and two days later I received an email saying it had been shipped and 2 hours later it arrived in perfect condition. It is a beautiful light and I'm thrilled with the whole process. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
