Shady Deals...Buyers Beware!

I made an order and requested that it be canceled before it was shipped. The customer service was quick enough to pull my package before it was shipped, however she charged me a 20% restocking fee and a $5 cancellation fee that is not even mentioned in their return policy. So basically I got charged $70+ to have them take my package, pull off the shipping label , and put it back on the shelf. Not Okay!

After threatening Dealmonger with a charge back, they did remove the charges from my card. But Buyer beware! READ ALL POLICIES BEFORE BUYING FROM ANY COMPANY!

The product I received was actually better than what I was expecting. In fact it looked brand new inside and out! It works flawlessly. The item arrived within 2 business days. Wow. Fastest shipping I have ever seen! I ordered on Monday Morning and received it Wednesday afternoon! Excellent!

There was no tracking info on the website until after the item arrived. I had to call to receive the tracking number. The item was not in full working order when it arrived.

I received a broken player in the first shipment. I returned it at my expense. There was a little problem getting authorization, but it was resolved in a very short time. I expect to receive the replacement player tomorrow.

I made an order, paid for it through PayPal, and aftet two days, received a message from PayPal that my payment had been refunded. I never heard from Deal Monger as to why, so I e-mailed Customer Service for an explanation. They never responded to my e-mail. Finally, through PayPal, not DealMonger, I learned that there had been a pricing error on Deal Monger's site. Again, I heard nothing from Deal Monger. This was their error and they should have made good on the purchase; at least they should have contacted me as to the reason they cancelled my order and refunded my money.
As a side note, Deal Monger charges your account immediately, not when they ship, like most other businesses. This is another "negative" for them in my opinion.

Terrible-NEVER AGAIN!-

Terrible Experience. I ordered, paid and was awaiting shipment when they cancelled my order due to an Internet pricing error. This order was a surprise for my wife. There was no attempt to contact me, or offer an explanation. I paid through PayPal and it was them that informed me my payment had been reversed. I will never again shop with an outfit who treats their customers this poorly. They should have made good on the order...it was their mistake. And they SHOULD have contacted me, at least to offer an explanation. I followed up my disappointment by contacting their Customer Service via e-mail. There has been no response from them either. This is a very poor way to treat your customers.
