Terrible customer service

I ordered two digital audio cables from Camera World. After Fed Ex lost the order it took FIVE phone calls for them to send the claim form. It then took three more phone calls for them to issue my refund almost two months later. I don't know how things would have went had there not been the shipping mishap; but when things go wrong there customer service is horrible.

Never buying at this store

I strongly recommend that you do not buy at this store. I ordered a camera, a memory stick and a case. I received everything on time except for: wonder? The camera.
<br>
This is not the entire story. When I called my credit card company to cancel the operation I found out that cameraworld had charged my credit card twice. For a camera that I did not even receive. Very unpleasant situation.

Worst customer service

I purchased a firewire PCI card. The item was shipped next day. I need an invoice with shipping charges. I talked to five or six customer representatives. I was never able to receive an invoice.

Dealing with these people is a hassle

The Item was advertised new however it was refurbished. The item was listed in stock however it was not. Money was immediately withdrawn from my account without a shipping date. I tried to cancel by phone three times, five days after my first phone and two days after my third attempt to cancel the item was shipped. The excuse was they are dealing with a third party. So the item was never in stock in the first place!! Because they claim the item was shipped (no tracking number offered) the refuse to credit my account.

Dealing with these people is a hassle and they seem to want to hold on to my money as long as possible. It may be several months before my account is credited.

My advice is shop some place else.

There web site claimed an item was in stock, so I placed the order. I received a confirmation within minutes. The next day, they sent me an email stating that the item was not in stock, that it was unavailable, and attempted to blame it on a supplier. On top of that, they stated that it would take up to two billing cycles to refund my payment!

Obviously, they do not actually keep items in stock, but claim that they do on their web site.

I have shopped here for years and this is my first unpleaseant experience. The delays were because no one was checking my credit card. I had paid for a quick ship method and because of the dropped ball on checking my credit, which is perfect by the way, I got the order two or three days after I originally wanted it. The rep I talked to on the phone dropped the charge for the quick delivery after a few days of trying to get this settled and shipped. I recieved five e-mails to contact their security due to the size of the order. That finally all worked itself out. Then I tried to figure out how to claim the two rebates I was entitled to and got very poor help. I finally got that worked out but this was not a pleaseant shopping experience. I don't know if they are as good as they were before Wolf got a hold of them but I'll still shop there if I need anything else.

While the camera delivered didn't show any damage it didn't work. It was returned for exchange, and instead of exchange they credited the credit card account, then they posted a new charge with a message that a replacement had been shipped. The camera was ordered on 12/17/05, and the replacement has not arrived. I had already purchased another camera from another dealer, and will refuse delivery of this camera.

The purchase experience was all I could have hoped for. The customer service after the sale was non-existant. After several attempts to contact them at their customer service email address (which did not even ellicit an automated response), I have decided that I will have no further dealings with this merchant, and will advise all my friends and aquaintences to do likewise.

The purchasing of my order went fine. Refunds are an absolute nightmare with this company. I waited over two months for a $48 refund to my credit card account. Repeat phone calls left me frustrated - I was being told all sorts of things. The refund was processed and should show up soon, the refund had not yet been approved, and not yet processed. Finally, I spoke with a gentleman who was able to get my refund processed - he told me that my trouble was due to being directed to their overseas customer service instead of speaking with someone at the corporate office.
I would not recommend this merchant, strictly due to the difficulty in returning items.

Accepted my order, but a week later announced product was back-ordered. Finally received about three weeks after originally ordered. A small non-essential part was missing, e-mailed customer support and finally received a reply over a week later. They said they'd look into it! Wow, I won't be using CamerWorld again, too many good ones out there. Don't need this kind of grief.

After completing our credit card transaction, we later received an email saying that we had to call to complete the purchase. So we did. First of all, the people we called barely spoke English. Second, they passed us around, kept us on hold, and even disconnected us once. Third, they didn't ask for any information that wasn't provided on the payment form, essentially wasting our time.
Once the billing hassle was done I received an email saying that my camera would ship the next day and that I'd receive an email with the tracking number once it does. I got the email as promised but there was no tracking number. So I replied (to the customer service address) but didn't receive a response until after I received my camera.
The shipping was fast once I got through the billing process. The price was good as well. I didn't get the additional warranty because the site didn't tell whether it picks up after the manufacturer warranty or if it's concurrent.
I will not be a cameraworld, ritz or related company customer again.

The add at the website was misleading. Of course "free shipping" was in large letters and there was the ever present asterisk. After going through the process of billing info, the shipping was added. There was no pause in the order process to check on the price thus far. Of course when you call customer service, there is a representative with a script and limited English to understand your gripe. Not Recommended.

The product and shipping were excellent. However, the price that was charged to my credit card was incorrect, and I had to speak to numerous customer service agents to finally get the credit back to my card. Then I was told that I had to pay shipping, but on the confirmation e-mail that I was sent, it said that shipping was free. There was a lot of run around that I should not have had to do.

When I see the price in the website, the price of the items is good, but after I finsihed the payment, I receive another payment which the shipping is some higher... I received my item almost one month after, and the invoice inside charged me shipping....the company is in CA!! and there was no shipping fee on my online invoice!! I sent an eamil to their cumstomer service....but haven't got the reply so far......!!!!!! Serious.... I purchased two items there....but so far I just received one of them.....they didn't tell me when they are going to ship it..... and....I am afraid to receive it have to wait for more than a week after they ship it to me!!
