I too wish I had read on this site before ordering. Four week after my card was charged, I still don't have the order. I've sent four emails, called the "customer service" folks twice and THEY have emailed. No response. This is obviously a fraudulent company so I will be called my credit card company and the better business bureau.

I wish that I had come to Epinions before ordering from Cajun Supermarket. I can relate to all the reviews I've read - this company is terrible! I placed my order 7/2, payment cleared by account on 7/9 and as of 7/31, my order still hasn't shipped. I have called the 866# on the website and all they can do is take a message and tell you someone will call back within 48hrs - yeah right! I've called 4 times and sent 3 e-mails - no response yet. I will file a dispute with my credit card company to try and get my money back. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

Terrible customer service

I placed an order 5/3 and since that date the order shows a status of "sent to warehouse". No response to 3 trouble tickets, phone calls not returned. I cancelled the order. It's a shame really, they seemed to have such an extensive selection. A pity they don't live up to their promises.

I ordered several items from Cajunsupermarket and never received 2 items and one item were unacceptable condition. Calls to Cajunsupermarket were never returned and their "support" website never resulted in any return communications. A complaint to the BBB of Baton Rouge resulted in no reply and a complaint to the Atty general of LA resulted in a reply that supplied bogus information (they shipped the order w/ dry ice and supplied an invoice for ordering dry ice after my order was shipped ) and also not even answering my question about items not even shipped but charged.

WHOA!! DON'T ORDER from this place!! I ordered a very expensive "Turducken" They finally shipped it, whatever it was. There was absolutely no Duck in it anywhere to be found. And no Chicken either. I think it was packaged back in 1967 and shipped to me in Dec. 2007-It looked like something that had already been eaten once or twice, if you know what I mean. To make matters worse, I've had no response to 6 attempts to contact them to get it resolved. Wish I had read the experiences of others first.

Terrible company. Products that expired in the year 2000 were shipped, some others so old the color was faded from the containers. No packing, just dumped in a damaged, reused box with product packaging broken and contents spilled. No response to complaints at their web site and no other way to contact them.

Never a shipping notice or information about delay. No tracking information. They did manage to immediately charge the credit card however.

I ordered a gift basket which was IN STOCK exactly one month ago. I was told it would be shipped in 5 business days. It just arrived today, 25 days late. The Customer Service department is non-existent. You can only speak to representatives who will take your phone order. I left 3 messages with 3 different people who marked my call as URGENT and was told that someone would contact me by phone & email me immediately. I'm still waiting for that call. Meanwhile, the gift basket I ordered was MIA but the money had been taken out of my bank account immediately. I made sure to bond my order which I highly recommend. I had to actually contact the bond company to complain about my situation. I was told through an email from BUYSAFE that they would follow up and take steps to resolve the situation. Finally, my order has arrived but with no Card attached. So after the entire ordeal the recipient has no idea that the gift basket came from me. Nightmare!!!

Terrible company.Two weeks later and the item still isn't shipped.A phone number that is never answered even by a machine.I tried to complain via a second website that they send you to but the proper fields do not appear. These people know they have too many complaints to handle so they ignore them. I can't reach them to cancel my order.I would never do business with them again and suggest that you avoid them.

I received a broken product which first of all was over 2 weeks late in arrive, which I was told I could return, 2 tickets on their "help website", 9 phone calls (they don't actually have a customer service number you can call), 2 e-mails and 3 months later I have HEARD NOTHING!

These people are horrible. They dont have anyway to reach them if you have a complaint because their "support site" doesnt actually work. They said that my shipment would take 72 hours to process and ship out, and the shippment would take 3 to 8 days to arrive after being shipped. My products were not on back order, and I never recieved an update to there status. When I went back onto the website to check my account, 9 days later, my shipment was still in the warehouse and had been there for 6 days.

I was looking for a christmas present for my father, who is extremely particular when it comes to what he likes. I was excited to find exactly what I was looking for at Cajun Supermarket, and at a significantly lower price than other websites. It was easy to order, affordable, and my shipment came earlier than expected! It made me a hit at christmas.

I still have not received my merchandise, nor any explanation as to why it's been delayed. I have tried to make contact, via email customer support, with the company, but have never received an acknowledgment. Since my credit card has not been charged, I've just chalked up the experience to an unreputable website. If I ever get the products, fine, if not, I just hope I'm never charged for them!

The order was placed on December 16th, Their on line tracking system was not working, Repeated phone calls to trace were of no help and no one ever called me back after talking to their customer service people, who could not help track the order. The order was received on January 4th, 20 days ( twenty days ) later.

The order was placed on Dec. 15, 2006 and as of 9 a.m. on Jan. 5, 2007 still has not been received. When we called about the order we were told someone would contact us within 24 hours and 48 hours later no one has called. We feel this is not a very good business practice and will not buy from this merchant in the future.
