I ordered a webcam from Wolf Camera Online Store two weeks before Christmas. I chose them because they showed the item AVAILABLE--many places were out of that item--and said it would arrive before Christmas.

I received a confirmation of my order within a few minutes. So far, so good.
<br>

Then A WEEK LATER, they sent me A FORM LETTER saying that the "back-ordered" item I ordered was either discontinued [not so]or was unavailable.
<br>
<br>
This leaves me to try to find a replacement gift a week before Christmas. They should NOT have listed the item as available and said it would arrive before Christmas and THEN WAITED A WEEK to send a form letter (which indicates they do this often enough to have created one) and leave me to find and purchase another gift just days before Christmas. And then they had to nerve to send me junk email.

To cap it all off, they just sent me a notice saying that my order was cancelled and that if my credit card was charged, I should wait TWO BILLING CYCLES FOR A REFUND TO MY ACCOUNT. Unbelievable.

I'll never buy again. I ordered a t.v. from their site one evening. After receiving their e-mail immediately after purchase informing me that it was back ordered, I immediately cancelled ( roughly 15 minutes after initial purchase, by e-mail as they directed). 2 days later they e-mailed me it had shipped. I called to complain as I had already made a new purchase elsewhere and they stated it had actually not left the warehouse even though I had been charged and they would stop it from shipping. I should expect a refund within 10 days. 30 days later still no refund and of course no t.v. . When I e-mail as to why , they stated that when they received it they would refund my money. I finally went through my c/c company to get satisfaction. They may be great as long as you get the product. However, I never trust a business that only pushes sales and virtually unmans the rest of their business. In the long run good service in the back equals great sales out front.

My shopping experience on Wolf Camera's website was terrible! The customer service was non existent and outsourced. We ordered an SD card which was suppose to be free after rebate. We should have known nothing in life is free. Wolf camera removed the link to the rebate on their website and provided incorrect information through their support people each time we contacted them. They eventually told us to use a rebate form for buy.com. We didn't use the invalid rebate form, but found the correct form on our own using google. We just received a denial notice of the rebate from the SD Card manufacturer stating Wolf Camera was an unauthorized agent for the rebate despite their website claims.

WOLFCAMERA charges way too much!

I bought a tripod from them and found it two minutes later at BH for over 60 dollars less!!! After browsing a litte, I found that wolf camera's prices were consistently higher than all the other well known sites (amazon, adorama, beachcamera, JR, etc.). Not just a little higher, but significantly higher. I ended up returning the tripod, because they were not able to match BH's price.

Bad Experience at a local Store in Cary, North Carolina

I have bought a dcr trv530 with the Expanded Service Policy from Wolf Camera. I turned in my camera for a repair on Jan 24th 04, on 14th feb they told me that this camera cannot be repaired and since this is a discontinued item, they will give me a giftcard for the amount that is written on my ESP document. Since then it has been 8+ weeks but I have not received it. On top, the local store who took my camera in do not return my calls, and when I go there, there response is we cannot do anything, this is with Corporate. So its more then 10 weeks since I first turned in my camera. The sales person there was not friendly at all. To me it looks like that these ESPs are waste of money and time.

This was at Store no 1272 in Cary North Carolina.

I find the staff at all Wolf Locations that I have visited to be under trained and uncaring about any customer service needs. In particular the Colorado Blvd. store in Denver, CO has the most unconcerned manager I have ever met. Incapable of resolving service issues, Patty makes excuses on why her store is allowed to be sub par. I am a manager in customer service, I am embarrassed for Wolf Camera for having such a poor employee managing a store.

WARNING: Poor Quality merchandise/ NO customer service/ Stuck with broken product

Bought a Coby Micro CD Player, which stopped working properly after 2 weeks. Seriously questionable quality there. Anyway, e-mailed Wolf/Ritz on need to return defective merchandise. Never heard back from them while warranty time ran out. Will NEVER do business with Wolf/Ritz online and I suggest you don't!

Beware!I won't recommend at all!

I bought a Minolta digital camera from one of the local wolf stores.The sales person was very friendly during our first visit.But the next day once we bought the camera his attitude changed.He also sold us a battery charger for 30$ saying that the camera did not come with one-on the contrary the camera had a charger of its own.
<br>
2 months later, we started facing problems with the camera and unfortunately we lost the store receipt.The camera is still under warranty and till today we have visited their stores 4 times, for them to track the receipt-yet to receive one.Very bad experience.

It is now Jan. 8 and I have still not received my order from WolfCamera.com. Ordered a Kensington FM Transmitter 2 1/2 weeks before Christmas. Received an email from Google Checkout confirming that my order had shipped. Then started receiving daily (so far 28 emails total) emails from Wolf stating that my order was delayed. Why would they state this item was in stock if it wasn't, and why can they not get this item in stock after so long. Called customer service about 2 weeks ago, they said that the item had shipped and I would receive it after Christmas. Obviously that was not true. My mom ordered the same item at the same time for my sister and the same thing happened to her. Their website says that orders not filled within 30 days will receive a refund. I guess this happens often if they have that posted on their website. Needless to say, they will never get my business again.

I recently purchased a digital camera from wolf camera and it was the worse experience ever. First i tried to cancel my order but never received a response from them. 2 days later i received an email saying that my credit card was charged and my order shipped. Then when my order arrived the camera didnt work. It wouldnt charge, the charge light never came on. When i called wolf inquiring about returning this item they told me their return policy was 10 days and because it was over 10 days there was nothing they could do for me. I wasnt returning the item because i changed my mind. I was returning it because i received a defective item. I think in cases like mind where the fault was clearly theirs they should honor my return regardless of their 10 days return policy. Now i'm left with a broken camera, total cost 120.00. :-(

Poor customer service in purchase / repair of camera

In mid-October 2006, I bought my daughter a Nikon Coolpix camera at Wolf Camera for her 18th birthday. We also bought the extended warranty with the camera. The first of December 2006, the camera began malfunctioning and displayed error messages. We returned the camera to Wolf Camera on Dec. 10 and were told that the camera had to be sent to Nikon to be repaired and would take 4 - 6 weeks. It is now February 11 (8 wks later) and we still do not have the camera back even though I have checked back with Wolf camera about 5 times. The camera worked properly for about 6 weeks and now we have been without the camera for 8 weeks. I would never buy another camera from Wolf.

Cannot be trusted

Ordered a TV stand that the website reported as being "In Stock". Only after they had my credit card number did I receive a confirmation with tiny print under the item description stating "Currently out of Stock". A call to Wolf camera was useless as customer service had no explanation. RIGHT! Anything to get your money! Cancelled the order; did't care for the SLEEZY tactics.

I bought the camera with this store and it has some problem with LCD screen. I return the product to them and asking for new one. They said only 2-3 days the new one will return to me but I waiting about 15 days. No new one come. During that day I call them many times and I get different answer for my problem. Finally I make a decision to cancel the order and go to buy with another store. VERY BAD SERVICE.

I purchased the NIKON One Touch Zoom 90 online from Wolf Camera. It seemed to be refurbished, though they sold it as new. It has never operated properly. It "ate" my film in the beginning, then wouldn't rewind. After sending it back twice for repair, the display would indicate that it had rewound, then when you open the back the film was still right there...now EXPOSED.

Wolf's guarantee is only 30 days. (They have an outside vender do the repair.)

The delivery was several days late & the customer service was poor.
<br>
My suggestion? DO NOT BUY FROM WOLF CAMERA. Read the fine print. After 30 days, you're on your own.
