I know, I know, everyone and her/his uncle has written a review on Tiger Direct and I'm just one more but when you get good service, your epinion it.

I used Tiger Direct's Online Store for the first time last week. I needed a snagless patch cable as the cable that came with my DSL wasn't snagless and broke. I called Staples and got a quote of $26.00 and a mini lecture on the fact that I didn't need a patch cable but some other type of cable.

On Tiger Direct, I found a Belkin 25-Foot Snagless CaT5e UTP Patch Cable in Red for $4.99. I double checked with the online customer service to make sure that the cable was the one I needed and also called Tiger Direct to double check with another customer service rep that I was getting the right cable. I got rapid answers both times.

I also bought an Ultra Quick AA / AAA Battery Charger with 4x 2500mAh AA and 6x 850mAh AAA Rechargeable Batteries for about $25.00. Shipping was $7.49 which is higher than I'd like to pay but my total order was $37.47 (compare this to $26.00 for the one cable which I got for $4.99. All of this arrived very fast. I placed the order late evening of the 12th, it was shipped on the 13th and arrived at my home, via UPS ground on the 14th.

Tiger Direct has a huge, huge selection of electronic equipment. cameras, TVs, Computers, MP3 and iPods, and accessories. They show customer reviews which really help with purchase decisions.

Customer service was knowledge, no nonsense, non insulting (as it's clear I don't know much about computers), knowledgeable and fast.

Shipping was unusually fast.

So far I've been very happy with both products I bought and with Tiger Direct as a whole. I really recommend thinking Tiger Direct when you need anything electronic.
