I have ordered from Tiger Direct many times and have always received the proper order at a great overall deal for one-stop shopping and with prompt delivery. However, you never really know how good a company is until something goes wrong. This review ironically involves my favorite company and my most hated company, Wachovia bank (read my reviews there). Earlier this year I made several sizable orders from Tiger Direct all in the space of a couple of days. A couple of days later I noticed my wachovia bank account was negative and had over $150 in bounced check and ATM fees from small things. I went to the bank and discovered that Tiger Direct had obtained two authorizations on my card for each order which had put over $1000 on hold in my account even though the funds were still physically there and hadn't been charged. So even though the money was there, the bank considered paying my checks as a "Courtesy" to the tune of $30 a pop for basically doing nothing. My bank agreed that I was not at fault but were completely unwilling to do anything about it. I contacted Tiger Direct and was routed to a manager immediately who was very apologetic and promised they would get this fixed one way or another. They released all funds and contacted my bank for me. Wouldn't you know it those bastards at Wachovia wouldn't do anything for them either... they just had to have their $150 in charges for "air"... instead of just letting it go. Tiger Direct paid for every charge on my account!

Yes they made a mistake, but they took ownership of it and addressed it promptly and correctly no matter how big a gulp they had to take to do it.
I will never forget them for this and will continue to use Tiger Direct for all of my future computer-related purchases.

Needless to say I'm now at Telco Credit Union and couldn't be happier.
