The web site offered a free printer after rebate with the purchase of a digital camera. After numereous calls of up to 1 and 1/2 hours per call, four "out of stock" printers were ordered. After a period of several weeks per order, an e-mail was sent stating that the printer was not available. Each time a separate call had to be made to order another printer. It seems to me that if a company offers a printer with a purchase, there should be a printer to be purchased!!! Offering an out of stock printer that is not and can not be available is deceptive advertising! After 3 months, when the rebate offer expired, I was forced to give up. I feel that Ritz.com owes me a printer. Instead, at the end of the rebate period they actually called to offer a printer that was again out of stock and could not be purchased.
Coorporate supervisiors would not return calls. Instead, they were sent to a calling center in India where persons who speak broken English had no clue as far as how to resolve the situation. There was a mix up on delivering the camera. I was charged twice for one camera. After calling twice, I was told that I would get a refund. This did not happen. After speaking with a supervisor, I was told that a refund would be credited to my credit card within 48 hours. Five days later, after not being able to get past the call center to a supervisor, I had to resort to a claim through Pay Pal in order to get my refund.
Two years ago, I had one rebate denied by Ritz.com.
I would never shop here again and will tell others to do the same. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I ordered the products in October. I got tired of waiting in december, purchased products from other vendor, and cancelled my order--per Ritz policy--on December 6th. On December 19th, after acknowledging my cancellation a week earlier, Ritz shipped my product. I called Ritz to verify how to return product, and was told to request a prepaid return label via email. On December 20th, I received the product, even though I instructed my office to not accept delivery. I immediately emailed Ritz and requested the return label. I send another email a few days later. I have yet to receive any response other than this survey request. I will be contacting my credit card company, and the Better Business Bureau and will be filing complaints. I have purchased cameras and all my products from Ritz. But after this horrible experience, I doubt I will ever shop here again. And I will be sure to share my experience with everyone I know.

1. I ordered online on Dec 11, 2006 and received a confirmation e-mail same day stating item would be shipped once received from Manuafacturer.
2. The online order look-up stated Ritz was still waiting for the item.
3. On Dec 20th, I contacted Ritz support. I was told by the rep that since I used a Canadian visa to pay, I would need to receive/sign a fax and send back, then the order would be processed. Since it was Dec 20th and I was going to miss Christmas (since it was a gift), I canceled the order.
I received nothing from Ritz telling me there was a problem with the order! The only reason I found out is due to my call to support.

Poor customer service!! Their website said they had the product - but they did NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK! Ther customer service perso told me - said in person - they would cancel my order - but they still shipped it to me!! Poor Poor management of orders and customers.

Terrible customer service, delayed shipping, even when I payed for expedited shipping. Ordered $800 camera and ritz waived the "signature authorization" without my consent. Wouldn't you know, my package was lost for over 3 days and Ritz kept insisting it was left at my front door and it was my problem. After several conversations with nasty customer service reps, they said it would take over 30 days to file a claim and get a response and they would not let me speak to someone in charge to help put pressure on shipping company saying "you are DEAD WRONG if you think I will forward you to a manager...." and then hanging up on me! absolutely worst online shopping experience EVER!

I absolutely would not purchase from your on-line store. I made the purchase then received an e-mail saying I had to call to confirm my order. I called, waited on hold 10 minutes, waited another 10 minutes on hold while my order was looked up, then told that the frame was on back order. It finally took another 10 minutes on hold for them to cancel my order. I have no problem with the merchandise not being available, but use your website to show that things are on back order. I should not have to spend 30 minutes on the phone because you can't complete my order. This should be a very simple process, not even requiring a phone call. I like your store, but will never visit your website again.

When I initially order they said it would ship with 48 hours - 5 days later when I shipped to customer service rep - he said it was shipping that day - FED EX - Now, it is Saturday before Christmas and it never arrived. No one should use this merchant!!!!

Box was dumped on my doorstep in open condition; merchandise missing. I Called merchant TWICE and they say to fill out a form they never send. In the end, They have my $, the Fed Ex driver has my camera and I have no gift for my husband. If I do not get item by Christmas, i will cancel order and if it shows up on card, i will report them to State Attorney General.

After waiting seven days for my order to be delivered, I e-mailed them asking about my order. The next day (day 8) I got an e-mail from them saying the item was out of stock and would not be re-stocked. Further - I used "Bill Me Later" service advertised on their website. Now I am getting bills from "Bill Me Later" for something I never received. The was the worst on-line purchase experience I have ever had.

I still have not received the $50 rebate coupon that was promised with the purchase. I have contacted their customer service team via email several times. I have given alternative email address's also that they could try to send to being the first email that they used had a firewall that could have blocked the message. I also requested to have it sent in a pdf format so that it would not be blocked. I do expect to have them follow through with this issue. Order # 1871237 kimk@marconet.com

I placed an order for a 120" projector screen. Upon delivery, I determined it was the incorrect unit. I ordered the 96x72 screen. I recieved a 92x69 screen. I then returned the unit, their records state they recieved the unit back on 10/11/2007 RMA. After 4 contacts
and three weeks later attempts and escallation to a manager I finally recieved the credit for the unit but no have not received credit for the extra shipping charges as promised. Besides speaking to hard to understand personel Ritz did not handle my issues as a company as large as Ritz would be expected to.

Repeated shipping problems. Still haven't recieved item after 6 weeks.
After first shipping problem, changed address to physical (non-USPS) address because the agent said it would ship FEDEX. Next day recieved notification that it had shipped USPS. Has disappeared. Customer service not helpful. The "live chat" customer service is a big waste of time (not fast).

Asked their customer service for at least 10 different times checking for the availability of a camera bag in BLUE color. Got confirmed and placed order. Then they shipped me the BLACK bag.
Asked for refund via email to customer service. Painful experience again that they are slow responding to refund request. I specified that they also need to refund my shipping cost as it's their mistake. But it turns out they didn't. Complained to their customer service again. Took a while then they now refunded my shipping cost.
SUPER painful experience with RitzCamera.com or Ritz Camera. Will spread out this word to all of the people whom I know!

The order staff in India and Manila could not speak English properly. My card was charged before the order was ready to ship, and then one of my orders was canceled for no reason. The staff could not tell me why it was canceled, and when I decided to cancel the rest of my orders, they could not give me confirmation that my card would be refunded. One of the worst companies I have ever worked with.

We received an email on May 27 asking for us to call RitzCamera to confirm our purchase. We called on May 28. Since then, we have received no information from Ritz, so we don't know yet what time to expect the arrival of our order. Our order # is 2063473.

While on line I noticed Ritz Camera had the printer I was looking for their ad said in stock, so I ordered 12-08-07 it next day I received an e mail saying not in stock, So I called & told them to cancel the order they said it was in stock, I told them to cancel it and as of 12-12-07 received another e mail saying that it was discontinued, their ad was misleading anf false advertising would not do business with them in the future.
