I had originally tried to order this recently released camera from SonyStyle.com - but their turn around time was very long. The item on Sony's website said it would ship the next day. I ordered on a Saturday morning, but by Wednesday it still had not shipped. Frustrated by this continuing delay I went searching around for other vendors. Before I ordered from Sony I had also checked out RitzCamera.com, but they were out of stock. But when I checked that Wednesday the website said they were in stock, and not only did they offer free shipping but NO tax! Sony charges tax.

I called to verify they really had it in stock before placing my order. They had 82. So, I proceeded to call Sony to cancel my order. I then called back Ritz Camera to put my order in with them. A friendly gentleman named Tom assisted me. He took all of my information quickly and it was no problem sending the camera to my office. (I usually find a major delay from other companies when my ship to is different from my bill to) Item would ship out the same day, and I was able to upgrade to 2 day shipping, and my total cost was still less than SonyStyle including their free 3-5 day shipping. I received an email confirmation shortly after placing my order. I checked out my order status on their website and it was already there even though I placed my order via telephone. When I checked that same afternoon, it confirmed it had shipped out. And when I checked the next morning it had my FedEx tracking information directly on their site. Quite convenient! My order arrived on time and well packaged. Camera worked fine & was 100% complete. I was very pleased with this transaction and somewhat surprised, as I usually do not like the customer service in their stores. I will definitely consider using them again to order online or over the phone.
