I generally am wary about ordering from any online retailer unless it is a popular one like amazon.com http://www.epinions.com/content_431518224004 or one that people have recommended to me. Ordering at netshops.com was easy enough but I did find their website confusing and the prices high. When doing a search for items, I found very little choice.

My daughter had a globe on her wishlist for Christmas. Globe 4 Kids http://www.epinions.com/review/Replogle_Globes_12532_Globe_4_Kids_10_25CM_Illuminated/content_413633056388 is the one picked out to buy from this website. Once she unwrapped it and I opened the box (Yes she got into it early), we found a globe that was smashed in at the top. www.netshops.com had shipped the globe without much cushioning (there was only a small cardboard piece) and in the same box that you see on the store shelves.

I contacted www.netshops.com about the broken globe by email and the customer service rep responded very quickly the same day by email. She sent an email with a printable return Fedex label, telling me to print out the label, attach it to the box with the globe inside, and then contact Fedex for pickup of the broken globe. Once Fedex picked it up, a new one would be shipped out to us. OR she said that I could pick out any other item for the same price from the site. I did not see anything else that my daughter would like better than the globe so again ordered it.

This was a week before Christmas. Fedex picked up the globe the same day as I printed out the label. www.netshops.com finally sent another one that arrived almost a week after Christmas. The 2nd globe that we received from www.netshops.com was NOT broken! But it was not right. The top half of the globe was in German and the bottom half was in English. So I am disappointed in www.netshops.com as their products are either delivered broken or just not right. I finally received an email from them apologizing. Another globe was sent out and this time, the globe was not broken and was in perfect condition. I would not trust them to order anything else after the hassle this has been!

The site has a clearance section but you will find very little if any items under $55. Even the clearance section has items over $70. The items under this amount are still overpriced. What kinds of items does this online store have? outdoor living, kitchen, furnishings and accents, baby & kids, sporting goods, storage, organization, specialty apparel, seasonal & gifts. Customer service can be contacted via email or phone even on weekend daytimes hours. You can check your order and tracking information on the site. The site loads pages quickly and they do have a search box to locate items. They have no wishlist to save items but they do have a cart to hold all of your items until you are finished shopping. Shipping can be really quick at only a few days up to two weeks for one of the globes to arrive...this was during the holiday though. Many items do have a free shipping offer. Items can be returned within 30 days if not opened but a restocking fee may apply. You can pay via Google Checkout http://www.epinions.com/content_431695695492 , paypal http://www.epinions.com/content_431559118468 ,gift certificate, credit card, or Bill Me Later if you are in a hurry and do not have time to enter your credit card number in. www.netshops.com has a number of retailers selling on the site such as binoculars.com. The site was confusing to me as I could not find more children's items....surely they have more than two pages of items for children!

My main problem was lack of selection in my price range. I found one lovely children's coat rack but they did not have it in a girl's style. Prices are expensive and items arriving to us were not in great condition. It took three tries to get what we had ordered!

What is so good about THIS site?

Accepts Paypal and Google Checkout. Very cute children's furniture. Great customer service replied promptly.

No, really expensive prices.

Prices are expensive and items arriving to us were not in great condition. It took three tries to get what we had ordered!
