Their website sucks almost as much as their customer service.
Full review OMFG! I only wanted to buy my wife a laptop for her birthday but after having an endless river of add-on features being pushed in my face as I ever so slowly made my way toward the check-out page, I said screw it and went out and bought her a Mac at a local store. I just wanted to buy my wife a simple little laptop with a few decent standard features so that she could surf the web, do her email, maybe watch a movie and store her digital photos - nothing too sexy - nothing terribly expensive. I had the credit card out and was ready to go, but after my 15th or 16th screen, of Dell offering up a flat screen monitor or a thumb drive or an external wireless modem or a $39.00 lap-link cable or a backpack or a ............. You get the picture. Bottom-line, after being put through all of that crap, Apple got the $2K. The funny thing about all of this is that I wanted to give Dell a second try after an incredibly horrible experience with a recent desktop purchase. I guess I'm stupid and lucky, but it's like they say, "God looks after fools (those who buy computers from Dell) and small children." Cheers! |
