The service of CompUSA is terrible when it comes to refund policy
Full review This review is not about the product purchased from CompUSA but about the customer service form CompUSA. I recently purchased a wireless router from CompUSA. At the time of the purchase, I got an assurance for the network salesman, that if the prodect does not work as the specification claimed, it would be considered defective, and I would get my full refund. After I tested it out in my home, I found the router keeps crashing and I have to reboot every 10 minutes. I returned the product to CompUsa and asked or a full refund, the manager of the store refused and claimed that the salesman did not have authority to make the promise. He offered me 3 choices, replacement of the same product , which I deemed to be inferior product and did not want it, another brand of product, which is not on sale as the product I bought at the time. or accept a 15% "restocking charge". The is the worse business practice I have ever met. It is bordering on ripping customers off. I will never buy any product form CompUSA ever !! ! So beware if you buy anything from CompUSA. |
