i paid extra for overnight delivery which was done. it just takes an extra 5-6 weeks for dispatch. pointless to the extreme. the website was easy to manage though. and there were a wide selection of books to choose from but it's been 2 weeks so far and the book i ordered is a no show.

Amazon did not deliver on time. They continued to charge for next day delivery, even though the delivery was scheduled for five days after the "next day". Won't let you cancel the order even though the product has not shipped, nor will it for several more days.

Appalling customer service! I have just experienced possibly the worst service (or lack thereof) from amazon.co.uk in my life. If customer satisfaction is indeed the main driver of profitability for an organisation, then Amazon's days are surely numbered. After waiting for more than 30 days for my book order to arrive, I did not receive a response from Amazon as to where my books were. That was more than a week ago, and since then, I have sent another three emails asking for a refund, as I was forced to purchase substitute products as a result of the non-delivery of my order. Guess what? Absolute silence. This is the most frustrating customer experience I have had in recent memory. Top tip: go to a bookstore near you and buy your books there.

Always the fastest service that I use to deliver products. The best selection out of any sight that I have traveled to on the net. When I looking the mailroom on our US post in Germany a quarter of all packages are from Amazon.com. This shows you what good service they give.
