Pros: Easy to use yet sophisticated for more advanced use.
Cons: Video is cheesy, but so what? Buy a camcorder
The Bottom Line: Buy one. Even a rank beginner can grow into its more sophisticated features. I also like the optical coupled viewfinder in addition to the LCD screen. More like an SLR.

Pros: small, durable, compact, easy to use
Cons: takes forever to get the photo, video doesn't have sound, not the greatest photo quality
