As the successor to and the replacement for the popular Tungsten E the Tungsten E2 boasts the same sleek and compact form factor as its older sibling but ups the ante with performance- enhancing features The handheld has a 320x320, 65,000 color display and is powered by an Intel 200Mhz Xscale processor, running Palm OS Garnet (v5.4). It has 32Mb on onboard non-volatile flash memory and an expansion slot that supports SD, SDIO and MMC cards. Software includes a new version of Documents To Go, for viewing PowerPoint presentations (now compatible with Mac OS X) and reading and editing Word and Excel The Tungsten E2 has integrated Bluetooth, providing Web browsing and email via a similarly equipped mobile phone.
