Interesting design

Pros Does it's job.<br>Good travel mouse
Cons Bad design with top button to switch modes.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Good mouse with limitations.
I do a lot of presentations and I feel like I am always looking for a presentation remote. This solved that problem. I love the fact that it is a bluetooth mouse and doesn't require a dongle in the USB port.

The overall size is on the small size. It takes 2 AAA batteries and has a tilting scroll wheel along with two additional side buttons to go with the normal right and left click buttons. If you install the Microsoft software then you can take advantage of the transformer capabilities of this mouse.

It is designed kind of like a notebook mouse with presentation controls (forward, back, blank screen, laser pointer) on the bottom of the mouse. Great idea, but I don't think it caught on in big numbers. If you press the button on the top of the mouse it changes into presentation mode and the buttons on the bottom become active.

Unfortunately this is an easy button to push in everyday mouse operation so this mouse is reserved for only presentations (which kind of defeats the purpose, I could buy a presentation remote). I have loaned it numerous people and they can't help but squeeze the mouse and active the top button and revert it to mouse mode.

It is supported by the MS intellpoint software so you can reassign the buttons to do whatever you like.

If you are familiar with the mouse then you can be careful to not press the "top" button and it works great. That is why it is still in my backpack, I just don't loan it out to people anymore.

Overall I think it has a purpose but poorly designed.
