The Bottom Line:
Keep looking.
HP products was the only option at a local computer store for a Pocket PC, so I bought an IPAQ 1945. The reason I picked the 1945 was because it was $100 cheaper than the other HP IPAQs. The product functioned as advertised, and you could not tell it had a Samsung processor instead of an Intel. Little did I know that 6 weeks later I would be the owner of a $280 piece of junk. That is when my screen went bad and I found out that HP does not back the screens on their product. HP says that I had applied 50 pounds of pressure to the product and it caused an "internal" stress crack in the screen. Well I know for a fact that the Pocket PC was in my jacket pocket the entire time and nothing happened to it because I was wearing the jacket the entire time. HP offered to fix the product for $199. I asked them if it really cost them $199 to fix the machine when they can sell a brand new one for $280 and they could not give me an answer. I could not even get a manager from HP to answer my calls, but instead kept getting a run around for three weeks as to why they could not fix the product.
