Pros G5 speed, screen size, easier upgradability.
Cons Built-in speakers could be better.
Recommended it? Yes

I've been using a flat-panel iMac since the 17 inch G4 model came out 2 years ago, and was starting to get a bit frustrated with the screen size & mediocre CPU speed, so when the new G5 iMacs were announced I knew I'd be upgrading. Pros Great looks, runs well, flys on the 'net.
Cons Standard memory is not enough.

The iMac G5 is my third Mac computer. I suppose one of the frustrations of owning a Macintosh is that the things rarely play up (I have never had a service call on any Macintosh computer yet), and the only reason that I have ever had to update is because they get so old that they cannot take... Pros Sleek, clean and uncluttered, very fast and friendly
Cons Need a mouse with a scroll wheel.
Recommended it? Yes

I just converted from a PC based world to a new iMAC G5 and I'm never going back. I won't go into all the detail already discussed in the previous 2 reviews but I will say that it is worth the extra money to go for a MAC.
