I actually own this unit, having purchased it to perform pre-processor duties for my two multichannel amps. It can be had for a much lower street price than the $649.00 MSRP. I paid $452.00 including S&H.

The RX-V765 is my first Yamaha receiver. I bought it because of favorable reviews, the list of features, and I found a good price through Abes of Maine. I was also considering the Pioneer VSX-1019AH. I decided on the because it's was suppose to run cooler.
