Pros graphics, music, story...
Cons having to SEARCH for TOWNS and DUNGEONS, ack!
Recommended it? Yes

Back when Wild Arms came out in 1997, it wasn't really receiving a lot of hype, and the reason is, a lot of people just blew off Wild Arms and looked at it as an appetizer to a grand dinner, which was Final Fantasy VII. Thus, Wild Arms was over-shadowed by Square's gaming giant, and so a pretty... Read full review »

Wild Arms 3: This Game is Making me SO Rip-ped.

Pros It kinda grows on you after a while.
Cons Characters, art, story...maybe it's just me, though.
Recommended it? No

Wayyyy back in the day, Sony released an RPG called Wild Arms. I hated it. That was pretty much the end of the story for me. This could have been due in a large part to the fact that I was working at Squaresoft at the time, and the battles, in my opinion just looked sad compared to FF7. I... Read full review »

Wild Arms 3

Pros Western
Cons Navigation, randome encounters
Recommended it? Yes

Wild Arms has long been one of my favorite RPG series due to its use of guns and western thematics and dungeon-based stages with puzzles instead of a tired emphasis on story that often destroys these games in the long run. They are lengthy, with the gameplay usually forgiving and the puzzles mildly... Read full review »

Cel-Shaded Magicians In The Wild West Never Looked So Good!

Pros A Fun And Invigorating Battle System, Bold And Gorgeous Graphics
Cons Weak Characters, A Very Thin Plot, Repetitive Gameplay
Recommended it? Yes

To me, the Wild Arms franchise has always been an interesting one. While the games have never typically burned up the sales charts, they do have a steady, loyal following that will go wherever the series takes them. The original Wild Arms was a quirky, fun little RPG that had the... Read full review »

All gamers shall have the right...no, the privilege to bear "Wild Arms"

Pros Immersive dungeons, nice cel-shaded graphics, and a very SWEET soundtrack.
Cons Lack of playable character selection, and world map navigation is still a pain.
Recommended it? Yes

Even with the massive hype surrounding the Final Fantasy series nowadays, Sony's Wild Arms series appears to be holding its own in the console RPG market. As far as I know, it's the only series that I know that the company has stuck with (to my knowledge, Legend of Dragoon only had one game, and... Read full review »

Pros Great Graphics, Awesome Soundtrack, Awesome Plotline, Awesome Game
Cons Battling is a Pain
Recommended it? Yes

I must admit, I've played all the Wild Arms games, I'm a gaming junkie, at least I like to think so. And I must admit, it's about time I see a totally complete "Western RPG" complete with clashes of cultures, trains, horses, and the whole nine yards! Oh, but it doesn't stop there either. It... Pros Great characters and plot
Cons Cell shading is nice, but annoying at times. The battle system isn't too exciting.
Recommended it? Yes

I personally liked this game. I'm still not too gone over the cell shading, but the characterization and the plot made up for it. The battle system gets redundant after a while and all of those no encounters abilities become your best friend. I'd suggest getting it because of the plot and... Read full review »

A Western-type game? Sweet!

Pros Ooooh, a Western RPG, twisted.
Cons "Where is the turn while running" button?!
Recommended it? Yes

This game is about a western-type cowboy called a "drifter". Most drifters are out there to help other people, and others are treasure hunters, but they all search for fortune and adventure. These drifters live in a world called Filgaia, which is basically a vast waste land, or a sand box. There... Read full review »
