Not the best choice
I bought this at Target to port about 10g of data from work to home. It was a little bulky to carry back and forth, but worked ok, but having to carry the adapter back and forth and plug it in each time was a hassle. Good Value!
I purchased this from Circuit City for $100, and it has $50 in combined rebates. Installation was easy via my USB 1.0 port. The Retrospect program included works well also. craps out after 1 year
This drive looks good and is inexpensive, but it started to breed bad-sectors at about the 13 month mark (on a 1 year warranty). After attempting several reformats of the drive, i've given up (too many bad sectors). The drive is crap. Read full review »
