Vtech IA5874 5.8 GHz Trio Cordless Phone

This is undoubtedly the worst phone I have ever had to misfortune to own! Only one person can be on a call at the same time, (this rules out the grandparents talking to both kids at once). The reception is spotty at best, and in some parts of my house, it is nonexistent. In parts of my house, the only way to answer the phone is to move nearer the base unit. If I wanted to do that, I would buy a corded phone. I am going back to my older 2.4 phone that has none of these bad characteristics!
