So far so good, my first LCD
Pros
adjustable height and rotation (horizontal), 16ms response time, rotates 90 degrees (vertical).
Cons
price, unit a little heavy than expected.

The Bottom Line:
If you have LCD, buy any becasue it saves your eyes. But if you want quality, this is good.
This is my first LCD and I'm very happy with it. I have own it for 3 years now, and everything seems to be working great.
Out of the box the unit is a little heavy than expected, but tons lighter than my 17 CRT. 17" in LCD means 17" whereas 17" CRT varies, but surely less than 17".
Everything is pretty much plug and play. Comes with digital plug and analogue adapter, power supply, and instruction booklet. No need for installation CD unless you're planning on using the 90 degrees rotating feature which enable you to turn your monitor 90 degrees and work in that mode, helpful if you are working with word processors programs since you see the full length of the page. But I never use that feature since I got out of college and no more PAPERS!
Very impress with the contrast and vivid colors output. Pictures are crystal clear and bright (even at low contrast setting). So much better than the dell LCD I use at work.
Now, the above is the extras that came with it. The real reason I brought this is for its 16ms response time. Very important if you watch movies or play games on this thing.
Response time is the time it takes for the LCD the refresh its pixels from light to dark, or vice versa. In this case every 16 miliseconds compared to the standard 26ms on the top brand such as sony. This prevents 'ghosting' of moving objects on screen. 'Ghosting' is when and object moves across the screen and you see a 'grey' shadow moving behind it. This is because LCD can't simply change it colors from light to dark fast enough... so what you see is the color in between the current and the next color between the object and the the background. Very annoying if you are serious about watching high quality movies on the screen. Having a faster response time helps at lot. I'm glad this has it.
The other good thing is that LCD runs relatively cooler, much cooler than CRT. Even when you're running it 12 straight hours in hot sunny California weather.
Another thing is that this LCD screen doesn't attract dust like the ones on laptops if you set it at the level of your sight so that the screen is at a perfect vertical (made possible by adjustable height on this thing). So dust simply drops straight down compared to the way laptop works: usually at a tilt since it sits on a table, below you viewing level.
one last thing: this or any other LCD saves your eyes. I can go about thrice as long on LCD than CRT. It doesn't strain the eye as much. So you get less headache. Great investment for all LCDs.
