I have always had very good luck with uniden. My last uniden phone got hit by lightning and so I had to go and get another one. I opted for this Uniden because it was supposed to have better clarity being the 5.8 gh. While talking on the phone it is very clear but then for no reason it cuts out and it sounds like you are on a cell phone and the other person can hear the wooshing sound. When another call comes in using caller id/call waiting, the phone actually cuts out and it takes 3-4 seconds for you to actually hear the other caller. It has a lot of nice features but not as nice as my Uniden TRU 448-2 that I will be searching for. The phone is going back to the store.....TODAY!
