expansion set is charger only - no phone line
with all brands - the expansion phone is only a charger and won't take an additional telco line. and then the rub, two people can't use the phone at once - one person has to 'transfer' to the other. transfering is a cross between the vulcan death grip and trying to divine instructions from the mfg...
