Massive price increase in 2008

Pros Sound good and easy to use
Cons Unjustified price hike.
Recommended it? No
The iPal were a great value when they were released. It's essentially a white version of their PAL portable radios to match the color of the iPod. They sounded great, ran for ~8 hours on battery and cost only $120. Well I'm not sure what changed but they now cost significantly more at $200-$220 at some places. I'm glad I bought 3 of them back when they were cheap but for the new price there are much better options. There has been NO change in design or materials used. Technology is supposed to get cheaper not the other way around.
