Hi-res sound at a reasonable price
If you are an audiophile, chances are you're way beyond the five disc CD changer, but for those who want to upgrade from the first multiple disc CD player they bought in the 80's without completely revamping their entire audio setup, Sony's SCD-CD595 5-Disc CD Changer is a great choice.

Fine sacd player, great value
Bought this SACD changer a few months ago, so now have good experience with it and a dozen classical and jazz SACD's. The SACD feature, with a SACD disc of course, in 2-channel mode, does seem to add some detail, naturalness and spaciousness compared to regular, "redbook" CD. Multichannel discs... Read full review »
Reliability problems prevents it's having any use.
All seem to have the flaw of audio drop-outs. At random places on your SACD, the music just disappears, for 5-15 seconds, then reappears. I have 2, both have been in the Sony repair shop 4 times each, and finally Sony threw in the towel replacing them with a more expensive model. Also, the remote... Read full review »
