Good packaging, marginal performance on cost
Sony VAIO laptops through the years have adhered to one adage. Fit everything anyone can need into a package that is, for lack of words, beautiful. Performance, however, is somewhat lacking for the price tag, but the VGN-S460 does maintain functionality.

It's a great overall machine!!!!
I bought this one to exchange the 2 defective Acer units. Too bad I did not buy Sony in the first place. Problems
I've gone through two so far and both have had problems with the mouse pad locking up, and it's been way too slow opening files. First unit got stolen - have to send this one back to the factory for repairs! Runs way too hot. Read full review »

Great mobile laptop in terms of weight, size ,features and performance. Looks fantastic externally and the screen is outstanding.
