Don't buy this boombox!
We bought the Sony CFD - F10 for our son to listen to cds while he drums. He was very happy with it, he really liked the remote control. However, 14 months later, the cd function stopped working. Not so MEGA
Disappointed in the bass response. Rather lackluster. Only bass control was "Mega" button.
LCD status display was too small and you needed to tilt it up to change it.
Kinda big footprint for its size.
Otherwise, it was OK.

Very clean sound.
This thing is BLUE! It is very cool to be playing tunes off this boom box with the lights off. I have had many boom boxes but this one is a cut above. I have no idea why but it does sound "crisper" than what I used to have. Other that that, the form is pretty cool (cybercool). Good price too. Read full review »
DOES NOT PLAY MP3's!
This box is OK. However, one big minus is that it does not play MP3 audio files! That's a huge problem in today's world.If I'm going to tote around a fairly sizable audio device, I fully expect to be able to play my own, custom music.
