Does not control everything that is stated
I saw this at Best Buy for $20, and immediately picked it up. I figured, hey, it's a Sony, and most of my equipment is Sony, so I shouldn't have too much of a problem, or so I thought.

A poor product from Sony
This remote is cheap, but way overpriced. It is functionally and ergonomically bad. It will not program some devices at all, and others only with very limited functionality. Bell ExpressVu satellite receivers cannot be programmed.

DOA
I bought it at Sears (1st mistake) the day after Christmas for $20 – what a bargain. Brought it home and couldn't program a thing, including my Sony Direct TV box! I visited the Sony site and found nothing there of any value. Tomorrow, it's going back. Read full review »
