Sony MZ-B100 - Great MD Recorder, but still a work in progress.
I have 3 of these now, all bought off eBay for around $200 used. Retails for $499 I think. I'm a professional musician who likes to record rehearsals, gigs and interviews. I'm really into the whole minidisc thang because it's digital and records at near CD quality.

Good but could be better
The MZ-B100 has been in use now for several years, and has been adopted by many broadcast organizations as their standard for field recording.
It has many good features, but several problems have been noted since it came out, including a tendency to skip tracks after many hours of use...
