Sony Grand WEGA KDF-E502000 50 in. HDTV LCD TV

I bought this TV for my boyfriend. We did a lot of research, went from LCD to Plasma, DLP and back again. Finally we decided with this DLP TV, that duals as an LCD TV. Obviously if you are looking for a TV to hang on the wall this is not a TV for you. I am not really an expert on the whole HD and what is good and what is bad. We just got HD channels and WOW the picture is great, the picture was nice without the HD but the HD is amazing. I have to drag my boyfriend away from this TV. I think the only problem is now I can't get my boyfriend to stop playing video games and watching TV. Oh and the sound is pretty good, no surround sound or anything just normal speakers. Ah and my favorite thing, the TV has an alarm so that it can turn on by it self. It is a fun feature, I set the alarm times at different times of the night. My boyfriend still hasn't figured out what is going on and thinks his room is haunted or something.
