Don't expect much for $100+
This product's faults are in what it doesn't do.

SONY missed the boat on this one
This unit had so much potential but ultimately fell short in a number of areas. Construction appears to be of quality materials, the styling is good and it carries the SONY name. So far, so good. It handles a variety of CD formats and has a rich pleasing sound for a compact unit.

No competition for under cabinet with weather.

AM is staticy the way I have it mounted, but I didn't extend the cord they way you are supposed to, and I don't care about AM. In my area picks up two weather radio stations, and two broadcast TV stations (no UHF). No provision for cable TV, or any kind of signal...
