Excellent software, mediocre hardware
I had a lot of expectations regarding the Sony MS-515, on the feature list, it nearly had everything I wished for. However, when in hand, many things disappointed me about this device.
My first major complaint is the poorly designed buttons. It has a 5 way navi button for...

Many good points, but expensive
I bought this device to record my music lessons so that I do not have to take notes. I looked at a number of cheaper models of voice recorders, but decided on this because of previous good experiences with Sony products and because the Memory Stick interfaces with my other Sony toys, especially my... I eventually upgraded that model to an ICD-67 (which now resides in my... Read full review »
A neat little unit with a frustrating "jog lever" and play button
The sound from this little unit is great. Overall it is easy enough to learn. The "jog lever" selection button wears on my last nerve. I renamed folders and tried to press the jog lever to set the name and many times closed out of the menu option altogether, by accident. Took some practice to learn... Read full review »
