The Bottom Line:
Not very useful if being used while engaging in physical activity, but a good value if used while largely stationary.
I bought these hoping that they would be useful for my ipod while biking and walking. I have found that the regular ear buds that come with the ipod are all but useless to me, so I was looking for something that clips over the ear. I have a hard time keeping these in my ears just sitting at my desk at work, much less walking around, running, or biking. The earphone clips are very loose, so that they will not cause discomfort when worn for a long time, but they are constantly shifting in my ears, requiring almost constant attention. It is even worse when wearing glasses. I have yet to find a way to tighten them up. I must have larger than average ears. When they stay set, the sound quality is very good, especially for the price. The bass is good, with very little distortion. The only problem is that they will NOT stay set for any appreciable length of time. This becomes very distracting when trying to focus on other tasks, or trying to exercise. I would recommend a different product for anyone who would use these while engaging in some kind of physical activity. On the other hand, if you are going to use these while stationary, they are a very good option for the price.
