May Not be the Largest, but Certainly the Quietest...and Fast
My favorite large capacity hard drive is a 120GB. I used to run my computer under Windows 2000 (Win2k), the pre Service Pack version that does not support any drive larger than 137GB (since it cannot access space beyond that number). This Is The Best and Fastest EIDE Hard Drive That I Ever Owned

Bad Drive, Bad Experience
My drive was probably an anomaly but I received in in early February and was thrilled to have a huge FAST hard drive. It seemed to work well for about a week and a half. I did have some computer freezes during that time but I chalked it up to being caused by my PSU (who knows?).

Really quiet
This drive is extremely quite. I never even notice when it's working. I have to look down to see the led on the front of my computer to check. Seagate is also offering a huge 5 year warranty which is really good because hard drives tend to burn out. The hard drive temperature is at 30 degrees right... Read full review »
Great warranty & quiet operation but crappy product...
I'm a network admin for several companies and I have had now consistently bad experiences with Seagate drives (Barracuda-160 and Barracuda-40).
