Rather diasppointing
My trusty old regular DVD/VHS player recorder gave up the ghost so it necessitated a visit to some store for a replacement. So I saw this Blue Ray player at XXX where I work on sale for 149.99. I thought it would be nice since I use netflix and it can stream netflix. Outstanding deal- A lot for the money!!
UPDATE- We've been using this player almost daily since December. I have kept the firmware up to date, and have not had ANY of the problems that I have heard on various sites with the player, at all. It has frozen up once or twice during that time, but restarting it was all it took to fix the...

OK Netflix-ready Blu-ray player, frequent freezing issue

It's OK
I have some caveats to make in this review. Primarily, we got this unit for free when we purchased a Samsung 52" flatscreen LCD TV. So we have little invested in choosing this unit. In reading reviews, this appears to be an entry level, older Blu Ray player.
