Very good machine for the price. Easy to use. Picture quality very good.

Long delay turning it on or off. Flimsy remote.

It took about half an hour to figure out how to work it. After that, I had no problem at all recording or watching DVDs. Picture quality is great. Select chapters every 5 min. or 10 min. Selection of chapters is real easy to do. Option to skip commercials works like a charm. I am finally getting rid of my VHS tapes. Programmable to record from 1 hour up to 6 hours. No great loss of quality at 3 hours.
