The DRC8060N DVD Recorder from RCA??? provides an easy-to-use, attractive solution for your recording needs. With its One Touch Recording button, this recording device allows you to record your favorite TV shows and music onto DVDs and CDs for viewing and listening at your own convenience. It incorporates Progressive Scanning that creates an excellent picture signal resulting in high picture resolution, sharp image quality, and the elimination of virtually all motion artifacts. You can store of up to 400 titles of the recorded DVD in the database making it easy to access previously recorded programs. Moreover, it allows users to record to DVD+R, DVD+RW and CDR/RW. The DRC8060N DVD includes a remote control for added user convenience.

Cons Recording unreliable; commercial advance doesn't work; freezes up

What a rip off. Unreliable recording. Set it to record and don't count on it; moreover, when that happens the disc becomes unusable for future recording. Pros Very good machine for the price. Easy to use. Picture quality very good.
Cons Long delay turning it on or off. Flimsy remote.
Recommended it? Yes

It took about half an hour to figure out how to work it. After that, I had no problem at all recording or watching DVDs. Picture quality is great. Select chapters every 5 min. or 10 min. Pros Would hold down a tarp over your garden equipment quite well
Cons Destroys rented DVDs, eats money and discs, disappoints, infuriates, may cause murder...

I bought this DVD Recorder from Woot.com, which I do not blame for this product being a piece of $hit(POS). They disclose openly when their offerings are crap. You get a deal, and they admit it might not be the greatest deal.
