RCA RP5440 Clock Radio

The clock picture shown on-line had a blue digital display, however the one I received had a different display. It was completely BRIGHT blue in the background with dark LCD style numbers. Although the clock had an automatic dimmer, even when dimmed, it was far too bright to be placed next to my bed. It lit up half my room at night. Also, it had an electric "short circuit" type electrical buzzing sound about every 3 seconds. Very annoying. I wanted to return it but was too lazy and put it in my bathroom instead. Great clock if it is silent and if the display brightness can be toned way down, otherwise I would not buy it again.
