No reason not to own one
There are so many reasons why I decided I needed a CD-RW drive:
- my Quicken backup crept up to 4 1.4mb floppies, and since I rotate two sets that's 8 floppies taking up valuable space near my desk

Overpriced
After exactly year and a half this cd-rw broke. I called the company and asked them what they could do to keep their good reputation. Their answer was, they can send me a refurbished unit for $70. Worked fine for 4 months
I received this drive from ebay and do not have any idea of how it was treated beforehand. The drive seemed in pristine condition though and it was easy to setup and install. Fast and Accurate
This the newest external CD burner by Plextor, to my knowledge. It is compatible with both USB 1.1 and 2.0. I am using it on 1.1, but Windows 2000 will soon have a USB 2.0, so this will then burn at the 24 write speed. With 1.1, it says that it burns at 4 times, which is accurate. There is...
