Perfect integration with the Xbox 360

Pros Inexpensive, quick interface to the Xbox 360, multiple item remote-control
Cons Not wireless surround sound speakers, white color
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  I highly recommend purchasing this product because it will interface directly with the Xbox 360 and it provides a substantial improvement in the quality of the games for the system.
I recently purchased the home theater or the box system designed for integration with the Xbox 360. Initially when this came out it was listed at approximately $499 however it is now become available through multiple retailers for between $140 and $180.

The system contains a subwoofer which also includes a receiver tuner combo. It also contains four speakers. This entails a 5.1 surround sound system. It also contained a remote display unit that connects to the subwoofer via wired connection.

This was given as a gift to me to integrate with my Xbox 360 which has become my media Center extender. I am able to stream live television as well as pre-recorded television from my media Center and also I'm able to stream movies that are held upstairs on my media Center PC.

In addition I'm now able to play the Xbox 360 games with surround sound and this is quite immersive. I have become a much better online player now that I'm able to tell if someone is behind me to the left or behind me to the right.

The pros for the system is that it is relatively inexpensive, quickly interfaced into the Xbox 360, contains everything that you need to get going quickly including the optical connection to the Xbox 360, and it also contains other digital audio inputs so that you can use it to connect to your DVD player as well. In addition one of the pros is that it comes with its own remote control which is able to now control the media Center PC, the Xbox 360, my television set and the surround sound system.

The cons for the system is that it is white so if you're going to integrate it into a different home theater system it's probably not going to match most of your other stuff. The other con is specific to my house but probably applies to a lot of houses is that the surround sound speakers are not wireless and subsequently neither had to run the wires around my house or I bought a hand on wireless connection.

All in all it is a very good device and for the price I would give it five stars.
