Pioneer DVL-919 DVD Player

For nearly 3 months, I had been longing for this player. I have many laserdiscs and DVDs, but I had no LD or DVD player (how's that for being smart, hahahah). Last December, I finally had raised enough money to buy this mammoth of a DVD player, and let me tell you....I am in shock at how remarkable it is! Video and sound have NEVER been so clear!!! I'm a big fan of anime (Japanese animation), and the Pioneer DVL-919 keeps on reminding me why I love it SO much. The DVL-919 has the ability to display animated titles in a special "animation mode," which basically enhances colors and clears distortion. This feature, however, is only available for DVDs.
All in all, this is THE best DVD player one can buy. Additionally, this is the best laserdisc player one can buy. Its only drawback is that it has a somewhat steep price. I got mine for a VERY cheap price however compared to what its suggested retail price. (region free too)
