Because each base system is expandable up to eight handsets, you can literally equip almost every room in the house with a cordless phone through a single jack. The handset also comes with its own recharging cradle, so it can be stored away from the base unit without losing its juice. Even better, it's outfitted with the same convenient features as the default handsets that come with Panasonic base systems. The handset speakerphone, for example, is a plus when dealing with automated phone systems.
