Great phone
Pros
Excellent sound quality.
Cons
One TALK button for on and off would be better.

I was looking for a cordless phone WITHOUT an answering machine, since I have voicemail, and with a speakerphone so I could check messages without having to hold the receiver. This one has the phone company voicemail light that flashes when you have messages, which is what I wanted.
The sound quality is excellent -- no interference experienced walking around the whole house. Haven't tried it with a headset yet, altho it has a jack and belt clip. There are a bunch of additional features that work if you have caller ID service, which I don't.
Only comment is that I would have preferred a phone that automatically answers a call when you pick up the handset. On this one, you have to press one of 2 buttons on the handset to answer a call. You also have to press a different button to hang up, so it takes just a little getting used to.
Two different store clerks recommended Panasonic as the reliable brand when I was shopping, so I'm looking forward to this phone serving me well.
