Excellent 5.8 GHz Wireless at a reasonable price
As a background, I had purchased both VTECH 5.8 GHz multiple handset phones and the equivalent Unidens over the past year and the Uniden provided inferior voice quality. An outstanding phone system
This phone system has 3 handsets that work from one base which is hooked to only one phone line. Two of the handsets can be placed anywhere in the house and plugged into an electrical outlet which keeps them charged.

OK Phone, but lacking features
The phone works fine, but it does not have a built-in answering machine. You would have to rely on a voice mail service provided by your phone company, or have a separate answering machine unit. This limits the usefulness of having a multi-handset cordless phone.

This is a good cordless phone for the money. I have purchased this to replace a GE 5.8GHZ phone the was 39.99 marked to 19.99, and wasn't worth even that! this phone is very nice and small. it includes 8 ringers, and has intercom feature.
