Pros Simple for anyone to play
Cons Almost too simple

As we would look through the software aisles at various stores. I kept seeing Oregon Trail versions 2, 3 and 4. After playing the original Oregon Trail CD rom game, my son highly recommended that I purchase the Oregon Trail II. I searched several stores until I finally found it in a discount book store for a mere $9.99. I was ecstatic because I believed that I would enjoy this game as much, if not more, than... I purchased Oregon Trail III because my family had loved the original and heard the second one was very good. I couldn't find Oregon Trail II but saw III on eBay, shortly after it had just come out, and placed a bid. I wish I would have kept looking for II instead.

My first warning that... Read full review »

Pros Great all around game, hunting!
Cons Not for ages 13-21.
Recommended it? Yes

Man...the first time I played this game must have been pre-1984...I was in 2nd grade. This game was incredible. You had to make the trek westward (Ho.) by using your equipment, mad trading skills, and most importantly, hunting ability.

Along the way if you didn't have enough clothing and... Read full review »

Pros A fun, educational game for the young ones.
Cons Probably boring for older people.

Believe it or not, there was once a time when it was not so easy to get to Oregon. There were no airplanes and no cars and the only way to get there was in a covered wagon. And there were many annoyances that you had to deal with like food shortages, wild animals, diseases and rivers to cross. Not... Read full review »
