I have had mine for nearly two years and have had absolutely no problems with it. People are amazed to see the vivid screen resolution in my home theater provided by the Optoma with Direct TV HD.
A local home theater shop recommended this unit as a best buy....(and I agree, it is a true value).. yet they wanted $5400 for it. I bought it online for $4100 delivered... and now, 23 months later the same unit can be bought for around $3000.
