Olympus SP-550 UZ Digital Camera

We got this camera 3 years ago and it is still going strong. I have even dropped it by accident a couple of times in fear but it didnt damage anything at all and it still works great. It has 7.1 megapixels which is decent. We paid $400 for this camera and I feel the money was well spent. The 8X ZOOM is fantastic. I have never gotton such clear pictures at full zoom capacity with any other camera. I particularly like the Sports Mode because it will take pictures of anything that moves without any blurriness at all. Batteries last 10 times longer than any other digital camera I have ever owned. Loading pictures onto the computer is simple and quick. This camera has the options to film movies and take still shots within the movie while shooting it as well as Portrait Mode, Landscape Mode, Sports Mode, Landscape & Portrait mode together, and even Night Mode for night pictures. Red eye reduction, flash can be on or off, Sound can be on or off for movies, and the viewing screen can be on or off if you would rather take pictures through the eye viewer instead of by the screen. It also has a built in calandar, clock, and extra built in memory in addition to the memory card. This is a very professional looking point and shoot type camera that is very easy to operate. It comes with a carrying strap and lens cover. I highly recommend this camera to any amatuer who loves to take great quality photos. The delay from the time you take the picture to when it actually captures it is very good with almost no delay. I have had many other digital cameras in my life that the delay is so bad, the subject has moved before it takes the picture. This camera's delay is about 1 second!
